Side by Side Editing Review

the video that we had to watch was a film about the differences between celluloid cameras and editing techniques that are used in todays society. At the start of the film it starts off with the director Danny Boyle about the way that he edits his films and the way that he shoots them too. the formats that he used for the film “the beach” was celluloid cameras these are the more expensive ones and they create the look that he wanted to create in that certain film. but when it came to making 28 weeks later then he said that he used about ten different consumer price cameras. when the editors got the footage it was a long process, that would have been very time consuming. because they used the smaller cameras the filming process was a lot shorter therefore the budget was a lot smaller than it needed to be.
